Hello! I'm Shannon, the blonde behind the boots n' bluejeans. I'm from a small town in Southwest Colorado. Friends and co-workers have described me as a dork and a nerd, which I proudly accept. I am a Harry Potter nerd, love Doctor Who, and dystopian fiction.

I ran my first half marathon in 2010, and while I have not been consistent in a race every year--or even every other year--running is something I love to do. Aside from running, I have developed a passion for hiking, hunting, and fishing. While I am still very much a novice in the hunting department, I endeavor to increase my knowledge and hopefully share that knowledge with you as I go!

In college, I majored in psychology, which is also a passion of mine. Although I often falter in "practicing what I preach," I believe positive thinking can help to shape one's life. I hope I may impart to you a sense of empowerment and excitement for life. Please join me as I create my best life, while I help you plan yours!
